Assam officials demolish madrassa, say owner is “terror accused”
Authorities in Assam demolished a madrasa after the person, who was running it, was arrested recently. Jamiul Huda madrasa in Assam’s Moirabari area, run by one Mustafa @ Mufti Mustafa who was recently arrested, was demolished on August 04. The police said Mustafa has links with terror groups. Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that 43 students studying in the institution have been admitted to different schools.
